Why did I Write Lily Starling?
For me, writing these books has been a journey of self-discovery and adventure. I’ve poured so much of myself into these characters—their struggles, their triumphs, and their emotional journeys reflect pieces of my own experience. As a lifelong Star Trek fan, I’ve always loved how sci-fi can explore the depths of human nature through vast, uncharted worlds. With Lily Starling, I set out to do the same—to craft a story that’s thrilling, heartfelt, and deeply personal.
